Hi everyone I wanted to share with you how I decorated mydinning tablefor Christmas for under $20 dollars. I had a very small budget for Christmas this year because of me moving into a new place a month, or two ago. I also have been trying to stay on budget, and get my monthly expenses down.
I announced on Twitter that I was going to go to Homegoods.
I was supposed to get stuff from homegoods, it was ram sacked before I could get there. Instead I went to dollar tree.
I received this product free through Influenster to try out. If you would like receive packages you can sign up for Influenster
I received the color Molten Bronze (Top), and Smoked Silver (Bottom). The two lipsticks have a matte finish with good color pay off.
When I swatched my arm the color was hard to get off at first, but after rubbing my arm with soap, and water for a minute it came off.
When I applied it to my lips the glitter did clump a little, but was very easy to wipe off. It’s great idea to also exfoliate your lips because this will highlight chapped lips.
The Molten Bronze is a bronze color with a green-gold undertone very bold, and really does say fall. The Smoked Silver is a silver with a purple glitter undertone would be perfect for Halloween custome makeup.
The two lipsticks are very bold, and make a huge statement which is great. For me personally these will be a seasonal lipstick ( Halloween/ Fall).
These lipsticks do leave your lips dry when you take them off. You may have to moisturize your lips after using this lipstick.
Hope you enjoyed this quick review. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I’ll see you in my next post.
I have decided to throw away all my foundations, and just let my skin breathe. You might have been wondering:
Where are the makeup tutorials ?
Where are the foundation routines ?
Where are the makeup reviews ?
Sadly, I will not be doing any of those.
I have decided to ditch the foundation, and just take care of my skin. I haven’t been wearing foundation for at least a few weeks now. I have been filling in my brows, wearing lip gloss, and lipsticks only. So, you will still get in depth reviews on the lipsticks, lip glosses, eyebrow products, lip serums, and skin tools I will be using. I will continue to bring you along with me on my new skin journey.
I know ditching the makeup is not something everyone wants to hear from me, but I decided to make this decision for me.
The reasons why I’m quitting foundation:
So I don’t clog my pores
keep my skin free from chemicals found in foundation
it blocks my skin from the sun
To show I’m confident in my skin
To let people know I really don’t need makeup
Taking care of my skin is cheaper than wearing foundation
These are my reasons for not wearing foundation anymore. Hope you enjoyed this post, and that it inspires you in some way to love yourself, and your skin. I’ll see you in my next post.
I chose this eat pretty book because, I want to learn more about how to keep my body healthy. Beauty starts from within, and it definitely starts with a diet. I don’t know everything about being organic but, I never stop researching. I feel like this book would be a good one for me to read at night, and share with you all the things I learned.
I chose this Stratus Soft Focus Instant Skin Perfector because, I really love the soft focus makeup everyone has been doing. I have also been really loving my natural glow without makeup. This can be used daily with or without makeup. This is said to reduce hyperpigmentation, and discoloration. It helps your skin to glow from within using lots botanicals.
This is said to have tingling feeling. I personally love that. I like that it has dragon fruit in it which is good to help your lips appear more full. I love that it’s a gloss. I used to like matte lipsticks but I’m kind of getting tired of not having extra moisture for my lips.
